RAJASTHAN – THE LAND OF KING

Rajasthan is located on the northwestern side of India, where it comprises most of the wide and inhospitable Thar Desert (also known as the "Great Indian Desert") and shares a border with the Pakistani provinces of Punjab to the northwest and Sindh to the west, along the Sutlej-Indus river valley.




JAIPUR



Jaipur is a colorful fusion of the new and the old. Also known as the Pink City , the capital of the royal state of Rajasthan, has been ruled by the Rajputs for many decades and formed as a planned city in the 17th century AD. With the old town enclosed by walls and gates adorned with paintings on the background of a stunning pink hue, Jaipur, the pink city has effectively preserved its old-world beauty and is called the "Pink City." One of the biggest cities in India, Jaipur is also host to modern facilities with some of the most luxurious hotels and resorts in the country. November to March is the perfect time to visit Jaipur and other areas of Rajasthan as the temperature ranges from 8-degree Celsius in the night to 32-degree Celsius in the daytime. January is a perfect time to visit Jaipur because of it's Kite Festival and the Jaipur Literature Festival, which has been held during this time. Sometime during March, Jaipur observed the Elephant Festival a day before the Holi. Trains like the Shatabdi Express link Jaipur to almost every major city in India. A more highlight is "The Palace on Wheels," which promises a royal trip to Jaipur. The major tourist attractions in Jaipur are Amer Fort, City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and Nahargarh Fort.

2.     UDAIPUR


 

Udaipur, also recognised as the City of Lakes, is the jewel in the crown in the state of Rajasthan. It is flanked by the majestic hills of Aravalli in all direction, keeping this city as beautiful as it is. This 'Venice of the East' has an array of natural wonders, mesmerising temples and beautiful architecture that makes it a must-see destination in India. And while the architecture of the whole city is appealing, the hotel at Lake Palace is something that gives the city a visual meaning. The sacred Nathdwara Temple is about 60 km from Udaipur. Maharana Pratap Airport is about 24 km from the city center. There are main railway stations in Udaipur-Udaipur City train station and Rana Pratap Nagar Railway Station. Deal from October to March is the perfect time to visit Udaipur. The winter season is a fun one, making it an perfect time to visit the city at its best. JODHPUR



Also recognized as "Blue City," "Sun City" and "Gateway to Thar," Jodhpur is renowned for its Mehrangarh fort, blue buildings, temples, desserts and treats. Besides the fort, there are numerous temples, lakes, shopping streets that are like a pipedream from the past. Jodhpur is among the most captivating cities in Rajasthan, with its mighty Mehrangarh fort spanning the city. Jodhpur is strategically situated in the middle of Rajasthan, makes it much easier for tourists visiting Jodhpur to discover other state attractions. Jodhpur Railway Station has regular train connectivity with almost all major cities of Rajasthan and Delhi / Mumbai / Ahmedabad and even Kolkata. November to February are the best times to visit Jodhpur, while they are cold, with conditions close to 0 degrees Celsius for a few days in JanuaryPopular places to visit feature Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Mandore Garden and Umaid Bhawan.

4.     JAISALMER



Jaisalmer is a significant tourist spot located in the northwestern state of Rajasthan , India. It is recognised as the 'golden city' because of its golden dunes and castles covered in golden sandstone. Jaisalmer is decorated with reservoirs, intricately carved Jain temples and havelis. Jodhpur is the closest airport, 300 km away. You should catch the train from thereNotably with cities such as Delhi, Jaipur and Jodhpur, major trains such as "Delhi Jaisalmer Express," "Jodhpur Jaisalmer Express" and "Howrah Jaisalmer Express. 5.     AJMER



Encircled by the ranges of Aravali, the town of Ajmer is most notable for the Ajmer Sharif Dargah of St. Muin-ud-din Chishti. Situated at a distance of 130 km from Jaipur and 14 km from Pushkar in Rajasthan, the city is connected by its heritage and culture. Visit Ajmer to see the beautiful Mughal architecture set in an atmosphere of spirituality. The town is also a popular holy place for Jains because of Golden Jain Temple. The city is tied by its values and history. Ajmer has the distinctive charm of philosophy and craftsmanship studied over the years. The Sanganer Airport in Jaipur is the nearest airport to the city. It's 132 km from Jaipur, so it's possible to get these two places together on holiday. The Ajmer Railway Station is a main train station in India and is easily available. Here, all big trains have their stops. Highlights feature Ajmer Sharif Dargah, Ana Sagar Pool, Adhai Din Ka Jhopra, Akbars Palace, and Clock Tower. October to March, which involves the Monsoons and the Winter Season, is the perfect season to explore Ajmer. In comparison to the blazing hot heat of summer between April and June, the weather is good.

6.     MOUNT ABU



The only hill station in Rajasthan, its pleasant atmosphere and beautiful green surrounding environment make it a major tourist spot in the state. The most significant attraction, however, are undeniably the temples of Dilwara, which is one of the most beautiful pieces of architecture in the world. The incredibly complex architecture of the Dilwara temples is, of course , the main draw here, so you can undoubtedly spend hours thinking how these temples were constructed for two millennia, almost a thousand years ago. The great season to visit Mount Abu would be between November and March, which is the winter season. The best places to visit include Dilwara Temples, Nakki Lake, Guru Shikhar Temple, Arbuda Devi Temple, and Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary. Udaipur is the closest airport to the city, but it's still 185 km away. Abu Road is the closest railway station, about 25 km from the city center and well linked to all major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, etc.
